As featured in this edition of The Voter Update, this ad from incumbent President Richard Nixon's reelection bid of 1972 is targeted at young voters -- including 18 year olds, who for the first time ever were eligible to vote in the presidential election.

Nixon went on to defeat Democratic Sen. George McGovern in one of the most dramatic landslides in presidential election history. But Nixon would resign in disgrace two years later.
